Bhubaneswar: Four illegal sawmills without valid license have been seized in Balasore district.
In a joint forest raid conducted by forest wing of Odisha Vigilance on running of four illegal sawmills without valid license at Sirakoili, Gunuda village under Remuna PS and Darkoili and Patukasasan under Sadar PS respectively in the district of Balasore.
Sawmills accessories and valuable timber worth approx Rs.6 Lakhs have also been seized during the raid.
Further investigation is underway, informed the Vigilance.
