Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday apprehended a revenue inspector and peon in Koraput district for allegedly taking bribe from a person for demarcation of his land.
Bijay Kumar Bagh Revenue Inspector and Rohit Kumar Padhy, Peon , O/o R.I Lamtaput Circle, Machhkund Tahasil were caught by the Vigilance sleuths for taking bribe Rs.10,000 from the complainant.
In this connection, Koraput Vigilance PS Case No. 41/2023 U/s 7 P.C (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered. Investigation is in progress, the Vigilance stated.
