First Invitation Card Sent to Lord Lingaraj Temple for Inauguration Ceremony of Srimandir Parikrama Project

Bhubaneswar: The first invitation card has been sent to the Lord Lingaraj temple for the inauguration ceremony of the much-awaited Srimandir Parikrama Project in the pilgrim city of Puri.

As many as 30 teams have started distributing the invitation cards to different personalities, religious heads of various temples and shrines, mathas and major religious institutions for the inauguration ceremony, which is scheduled to be held on January 17.

Of the 30 teams, 13 teams will distribute the invitation cards in various places within the State while 17 teams will distribute them outside the state.

One of the teams reached the Lingaraj Temple with invitation card. The team will later invite Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Each team has one nodal officer and three servitors.
