Commissionerate Police Issues Guidelines for Zero Night Celebrations in Bhubaneswar 

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has issued guidelines for Zero Night celebrations in Bhubaneswar.

Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh said that Zero Night celebrations in all the hotels, clubs, and bars in the capital city will be allowed till 12.30 am.

All hotels, clubs, and bars have been directed to close down their establishments at 12.30 am. They are required to implement additional security measures, address parking concerns, and monitor liquor consumption.

The organizers have been directed to provide extra drivers to safely transport intoxicated individuals to their homes. If necessary, organizers are advised to have an ambulance on standby. They have been asked to prepare proper exit plans, ensure fire and electricity measures, and ban the use of narcotics on their premises, the DCP said.

He further said that 20 platoons of police will be deployed and patrolling will be increased across the city to maintain law and order situation.
