Chatrapur: In a special drive, the Ganjam Police has recovered 10 mobile phones including nine stolen ones and handed over to their rightful owners.
The police personnel from different police stations under the Ganjam Police district have solved eight theft cases and recovered nine stolen and one lost mobile phones. The recovered phones have been given to the rightful owners bringing smiles in their faces.
Chatrapur PS team has detected two mobile theft cases. The team has recovered three mobile phones and apprehended two persons. Polasara PS team has unearthed four theft cases and recovered four stolen mobile phones. Two persons were arrested in connection with the theft cases.
Similarly, Kabisuryanagar PS team has detected two theft cases and recovered two stolen mobile phones and one missing mobile phone.
The special drive was conducted under the direction of Ganjam SP Jagmohan Meena.
The owners have thanked the Ganjam SP and police team for their efforts in recovering the stolen mobile phones.
