Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department on Monday informed that AIIMS Bhubaneswar and MKCG MCH Berhampur have been declared as Model Treatment Centres under National Viral Hepatitis Control Programme (NVHCP).
“In order to provide better healthcare services, treatment, early detection and diagnosis of Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, MKCG MCH Berhampur have been declared as Model Treatment Centres under National Viral Hepatitis Control Programme”, the Department tweeted.
The NVHCP is an integrated initiative for the prevention and control of viral hepatitis in India to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3.3 which aims to ending viral hepatitis by 2030. The programme was launched on the occasion of the World Hepatitis Day, 28th July 2018.
