‘Ama Odisha, Nabin Odisha’ Scheme Launched to Build Strong Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government’s ambitious scheme ‘Ama Odisha, Nabin Odisha’ has been launched on Tuesday to strengthen the infrastructure for building a strong and empowered Odisha.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has launched the scheme from Keonjhar and Bhadrak district on the first day through video conferencing. The focus of this programme will be every Panchayat and village.

The State Government will spend Rs 3397 crore for the ‘Ama Odisha, Nabin Odisha’ programme covering 6794 Panchayats across the State. As many as 90723 projects will be implemented under the scheme. Every Panchayat will receive Rs 50 lakh.

Under the programme, the Jagannath culture in each village will be improved and digital infrastructure will be developed. This will be the basic foundation for building an ambitious Odisha.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Odisha is the land of Lord Jagannath. World peace, harmony, equality and service are the message of Jagannath culture. Irrespective of caste, religion, community, it has made everyone its own.

The programme will preserve Jagannath culture in every village. Every place of worship will be developed. Heritage sites will be preserved. The Chief Minister said that the preservation and protection of these cultural and heritage sites is essential for our future generations.

Chief Minister said that development of digital infrastructure in villages is one of the objectives of this scheme. Internet connection will be available in the village. Science park will be developed. There will be a skill development centre and works hub will be created. Banking facilities will be available. The primary schools of the village will also be covered in the programme. in this program. It will bring immense opportunities to our youth society, women, farmers brothers and sisters and students and will further enhance the identity of Odisha as a modern, strong, progressive and culturally aware state.

For today’s programme , a huge crowd gathered in 6 constituencies of Keonjhar and 5 constituencies of Bhadrak. On the first day of the ‘Ama Odisha, Nabin Odisha’, Rs 148.50 crore has been sanctioned for 3568 projects of 297 gram Panchayats of 6 constituencies of Keonjhar, while Rs 109 crore has been sanctioned for 3337 projects of 218 gram Panchayats of 5 constituencies of Bhadrak district.
