Bhubaneswar: Around 70% of voter turnout was recorded in the fifth and final phase of Panchayat elections in Odisha, according to the State Election Commission on Thursday.
The election was held for 131 Zilla Parishad seats at 13,514 booths in 975 Gram Panchayats under 48 blocks in 25 districts of the State.
As many as 520 candidates were in fray for ZP seats in this phase of the Panchayat elections.
