Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today reviewed the post cyclone Yaas reconstruction and restoration work and directed the officials to assess and report on house damage in affected districts within seven days.
All the focus now should be on relief, reconstruction and restoration, the Chief Minister stressed.
He asked the administration to remain vigilant citing the possibility of flooding in lower reaches of the Baitarani River.
“Odisha has once again proved to be very successful and effective in managing natural disasters with the help of people”, the Chief Minister added.
Naveen lauded the administration for effectively managing the disaster and said that it was successfully managed due to meticulous planning & flawless management.
The Chief Minister also thanked people, civil society organisations of the affected districts for their cooperation.
