Bhubaneswar: Odisha capital Bhubaneswar on Monday recorded the season’s highest day temperature.
Bhubaneswar’s temperature hit 43.8 degrees Celsius by 2.30 pm, according to Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
The temperature in six places of the State was above 35 degrees Celsius. Balasore recorded 40.7 degrees Celsius, Chandabali 40.4 degrees Celsius, Keonjhar 38 degrees Celsius, Gopalpur 37 degrees Celsius, Sambalpur 36.6 degrees Celsius, Jharsuguda 36.2 degrees Celsius, Paradip 35.4 degrees Celsius, Hirakuda 34.8 degrees Celsius, Rourkela 34.4 degrees Celsius and Puri 35 degrees Celsius.
