Berhampur: The Berhampur Police has secured the conviction of two criminals in a case of attack against a woman.
The two accused persons K. Sukuru and K. Juria have been convicted and sentenced to Rigorous Imprisonment for 3 years and Simple Imprisonment for 1 year respectively.
The incident dates back to 27-6-2014, when the victim lady was assaulted by Sukuru and Juria. Police arrested both of them and ASI Gopal Krishna Padhi took over the investigation. All evidences were collected and V. Prasanna Kumar Patro, Associate Lawyer argued the case in the Hon’ble CJM Court. Yesterday, the final verdict was given and both persons were convicted.
Berhampur SP Dr. Saravana Vivek M has congratulated the team that investigated the case and the subsequent conviction.
