Balasore: The Balasore Town Police on Monday arrested a fake doctor from Fakir Mohan Medical College and Hospital.
The fake doctor has been identified by as Ajay Bhanj.
Bhanj was nabbed by the police while he was examining patients and writing prescriptions for tests and medicines for them, as per reports.
Ajay reached the hospital today for the treatment of his parents. After noticing a long queue for the ticket and unable to get one, he himself started to write prescription for some patients and recommended them for some tests.
On being informed, the Balasore Town Police reached the hospital and detained Ajay for interrogation.
During interrogation, Ajay informed the police that he is a medical representative by profession.
Meanwhile, the police started a probe into the matter.
