Bhubaneswar: In a good initiative to promote the rich Sambalpuri cultural heritage, the Bargarh district administration has urged all its employees to wear Sambalpuri attire on all Mondays (working days).
“In order to promote the rich Sambalpuri cultural heritage and the famous tie and die fabrics of the region and to promote belongingness among the staff, it is hereby requested that all the employees of Bargarh district, except those provided with uniform or official dress code, shall wear Sambalpuri attire on all Mondays (working days)”, Bargarh Collector Monisha Banerjee said in an official order.
The order will take immediate effect.
