Baripada: The Odisha Vigilance Department has arrested Ramachandra Sen, Senior Revenue Assistant O/o the Sub-Collector, Baripada, Mayurbhanj in connection with disproportionate assets case.
The Vigilance officials had carried out simultaneous house searches on Saturday at five places in the district of Mayurbhanj in which one Additional SP, five DSPs, seven Inspectors and other staff were engaged. During the searches against Ramachandra Sen, two multistoried buildings, 15 plots, deposits of Rs 29 lakhs, 3 four wheelers, 5 two wheelers were unearthed.
