Beating all odds, tribal girl becomes a successful MNC professional

Paralakhemundi/Berhampur: Radhika Behara, a tribal girl from Jalo village village of R Udayagiri block in Gajapati district overcame all challenges to become a successful MNC professional.

Radhika hails from a poor family Her father is a farmer. She is the second daughter. Her elder one sister like all other girls of her village failed to pass primary school after that she got married to a local youth. But Radhika decided to come out from the village and joined in a school at Jarada. She completed her 8th class .After that she moved to SC ST hostel at Berhampur completed her 10th class.

After that she was attracted to read in ITI Berhampur being supported by Sudakhya scheme. Her financial problem is over. The hands on Skill imparted there changed her life. Now she is working at an MNC in Chennai as electrician and looks after her family.
