Berhampur: One more person has been arrested by the Berhampur Police in the case of fraud by forging the signature of Dr. Ramesh Chandra Barata, Managing Director of AUM Aarogya Hospitals Pvt Ltd in Berhampur.
On the report of Dr. Barata, a case was registered against another director Nishi Priyadarshini and her husband Badri Patro for altering the paid up equity share capital of the company by forging his signature in the minutes of meeting of Board of Directors.
Due to this, the complainant Doctor is alleged to have sustained a drastic reduction in his value of shares. During course of investigation of this case, it was found that one Rushi Prasad Nahak, the Director of Specimen Holdings Pvt Ltd, who is the disputed lessee of AUM Aarogya Hospitals Pvt Ltd, is found involved in this offence for assisting Nishi Priyadarshini and Badri Patro in altering the value of shares in a forged manner.
Rushi Prasad Nahak has been arrested on basis of the available scientific evidence and has been forwarded him to the Court, according to Berhampur SP Dr. Saravana Vivek M.
