Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, noted Bharat Natyam Guru Sriganeshan from KualaLumpur, Malaysia, who came to perform at Bhanja Kala Mandap died on the stage yesterday evening. The fell down on the stage while the lighting of lamps was taking place. Before that he had given a solo dance performance at the venue which enthralled the audience.
He was immediately taken to the Capital Hospital where the doctors declared him dead. He was 60 years old and was the president of Malaysia Barathanatya Dance Association.
