Bhubaneswar: Former Chief Secretary of Odisha and Chairman of Western Odisha Development Council, Asit Tripathy has been re-elected as the President of Bhubaneswar Club. The elections for various posts of the Bhubaneswar Club were held yesterday and the results were declared today. Asit Tripathy received 858 votes out of the 1054 votes polled. He defeated retired IAS officer Satya Prakash Nanda. Dilip Routrai has been elected as the Secretary of the Club. In 2021, Asit was elected as the president of Bhubaneswar Club by defeating BK Patnaik by a margin of 278 votes.
Mahendra Kumar Gupta has been elected as the Vice-president and Ashok Mishra has been re-elected as the Joint-secretary.
