Bhubaneswar Gears Up To Witness Rare Zero Shadow Day Today 

Bhubaneswar: A unique celestial phenomena called Zero Shadow Day will be witnessed in Capital city Bhubaneswar between 11.40 to 11.45 AM. It will be experienced for about three to four minutes when the shadow will not be visible. The event occurs when the Sun reaches its highest point in the sky. At the exact moment, the vertical objects will cast no shadows on the ground.

To witness the zero shadow day celestial phenomena, people can go to an open space directly under the Sun without any obstructions. It can be experienced for about a few minutes when the Sun will be at its peak. According to the Pathani Samanta Planetarium in Bhubaneswar, the rare phenomena can be seen at 11.43 am. This phenomenon occurs twice in a year between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn area.
