Bhubaneswar: The direct flight service between Bhubaneswar and Jeypore, which was flagged off by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to enhance air connectivity in the State, has received good response from the passengers since its launch on October 31.
“Bhubaneswar-Jeypore flight service has been warmly welcomed by passengers since its launch on 31st Oct, 2022. So far, IndiaOne Air has completed 50 scheduled flights with 91% passenger occupancy and 100% on-time performance, providing crucial hinterland connectivity”, the state Commerce and Transport Department informed.
All the scheduled flights recorded 91% occupancy with the airline clocking a 100% on-time performance till November 15 since its launch.
The commencement of flight operations has given boost to connectivity, commerce and tourism, fulfilling the aspirations of the people of the State, especially Koraput.
