Biggest Ever Star Studded Inaugural Function At Cuttack Barabati Stadium To Celebrate Odisha’s Sporting Prowess
Cuttack: As the moment of biggest ever Hockey World Cup Celebrations come closer for a reality, all roads lead towards the iconic Barabati Stadium in Cuttack today. The star studded program is going to enthrall the audience from across the world with spellbound performance by some of the greatest performers of the country and abroad. As a precursor to the FIH Hockey World Cup 2023, the Barabati Celebrations will showcase Odisha’s rich culture and demonstrate Odisha’s sporting prowess to the world.
Dressed to the nines, the Barabati stadium is all set to welcome the Hockey lovers from across the country. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will be present there to motivate the enthusiasts. Members of the participating team including all the captains, who’s who of FIH and Hockey India, dignitaries and sporting legends will be there to watch how Odisha has geared up to celebrate the never before Hockey event in the country.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik yesterday met Bollywood heartthrob Ranvir Singh, who will be performing live in the evening. Also, music maestro Pritam, actress Disha Patani, International K-pop girl Group Blackswan members, Singer Neeti Mohan and a host of other performers also met Chief Minister at his residence yesterday. Music Director Pritam has composed the official Hockey Anthem “Hockey Hai Dil Mera” which will be performed today.
One of the attractions will be the light and sound drone show in which more than 500 drones will be used.
While more than 45 thousand audience will witness the program live at the Barabati stadium, special arrangements have been made to live stream the program in various cities including Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Rourkela and Sambalpur. Large LED screens have been put up in open air that can accommodate thousands of people. In Bhubaneswar, the Olly Land at the Kalinga Stadium has been attracting both children and elders in thousands. In Berhampur, large LED screens have been put up at the UCP Engineering School Ground where arrangements have been made for thousands of people to witness the event. In Rourkela more than 30 thousand people will see the enthralling event live through giant screens.
