Biju Jayanti: Naveen Asks Party Workers To Pledge Themselves For Public Service

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has written a letter to the party members on the eve of the 107th birth anniversary of former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik.

In his letter, Naveen has asked all the party workers to pledge themselves for public service and work for the betterment of the society.

In his letter, Naveen wrote “The forthcoming March 5th is Biju Babu’s 107th Birth Anniversary. This year, the Biju Janata Dal will observe this great day with the people. “ The day will start with Prabhat Pheri at 6 am and will be followed by garlanding the statue of Biju Babu and distribution of fruits in medicals, orphanages, old age homes and ashrams.

Five kilometer cycle rallies will be organized by the members of Biju Janata Dal and Biju Chatra Janata Dal in every constituency at 8. 30 am with the participation of more than 200 workers. As selfless service to mankind is the Mantra of Biju Babu’s politics, public meetings will be organized in the afternoon with the presence of the elected members, party functionaries leaders, workers, and active members. All members should take a pledge towards public service and promise to build a prosperous, stronger and proud new Odisha, Naveen said.
