Bhubaneswar: Bill Gates, the billionaire philanthropist and Microsoft co-founder, has recently showered his praises on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and development of Odisha.
Bill Gates has lauded the visionary leadership of Naveen Patnaik in ensuring inclusive development with an emphasis on key sectors like health, nutrition, agriculture, and urban reform.
The billionaire philanthropist has also widely appreciated the Odisha Government’s pathbreaking initiatives like Mission Shakti, MUKTA and Jaga Mission, saying that these initiatives are changing the lives of the poor, especially women.

During his recent field visit to the State, the Microsoft co-founder was impressed with the use of digital technology, including AI, at the Agricultural Monitoring Centre by the Odisha Government.
Bill Gates said that Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is keen to deepen its partnership with the Odisha Government, especially in digital agriculture, maternal anemia, and transformative technologies for sanitation.
