Gopalpur: BJD candidate B. Uma has been declared vice chairperson of Gopalpur NAC under Gopalpur Assembly Constituency in Ganjam district.
The BJD candidate won the election to the vice chairperson post unopposed.
Earlier, the BJD has registered a landslide victory in the Gopalpur NAC winning 8 seats out of 11 seats.
The ruling party also bagged the Chairperson seat, for which the direct election was held first time.
