BJD Prepares Strategies for First Session of 17th Odisha Assembly

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal President and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik on Saturday chaired an important meeting of BJD Legislature Party ahead of the commencement of the first session of the 17th Odisha Assembly.

The BJD supremo discussed about the party’s strategies for the budget session of the Assembly with the MLAs.

Naveen urged all the MLAs to carry out the responsibility given to them by the party to monitor the work of various departments of the state government.

Naveen Patnaik asked the party legislators to work hard to protect the interest of the 4.5 crore people of the state.

All the MLAs of the BJD were present at the meeting.

The first session of the 17th Odisha Assembly will commence on July 22 and will continue till September 13 in two phases.

The annual budget for the financial year 2024-25 will be presented on July 25.
