BJD Protests against Corruption and Irregularities in NEET Exam

New Delhi: The Biju Janata Dal MPs in Rajya Sabha on Friday protested against the corruption and irregularities in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam, affecting the lives of millions of students in the country.
The BJD MPs stood up in their respective places and then moved to the front of the House and further demanded the discussion on it in the Rajya Sabha today.
When their protest was not heeded to, the BJD MPs went to the well of the House registering their strong protest as a robust opposition party on the floor of the Parliament.
The BJD MPs strongly protested against the BJP-led Government of India in the Parliament and went to the Well of the House twice, voicing the concerns of the students and parents of Odisha who are adversely affected due to NEET irregularities and corruption.
Other Opposition party members also protested and entered the Well of the House demanding an immediate discussion on the issue of alleged irregularities in the NEET exam, Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned till 2 PM.
The Lok Sabha proceedings also started on a stormy note on Friday with the Opposition creating a ruckus in the House over the NEET issue and also demanding a quick discussion on the same.
