Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal will launch a three-day statewide protest against the rise in prices of LPG.
The women, youth and student wings of the BJD will hold demonstrations in front of the revenue divisional commissioner office central Cuttack on November 21, Sambalpur Revenue Divisional Commissioner Northern on November 22 and RDC Southern office at Berhampur on November 23.
The ruling party alleged that LPG price has increased by 70 per cent in three years to cost Rs 926. It has adversely affected every household in the State. The Ujjawala scheme has failed, the party added.
