BJD Will Get Full Majority after Third Phase Elections: Kartik Pandian

Bhubaneswar: Senior Biju Janata Dal leader and party’s star campaigner Kartik Pandian has asserted that the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik-led party will get full majority by the third phase of elections due to be held Saturday.

Interacting with the media persons, Kartik Pandian said the Biju Janata Dal will form the next government with a huge majority.

He said, “With the blessings of Lord Jagannath and the people of Odisha, our beloved Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will get comfortable majority after the third phase elections in Odisha”.

Speaking on varied political issues, Kartik Pandian said people all over the state wanted that the Chief Minister to stand from their constituency. CM Naveen selected the two seats – Hinjili and Kantabanji and he will get majority votes in both the seats. The opposition always talks about parivarthan hawa, in 2014, in 2019, during by-elections and now also they are talking about that. But I can see everywhere; there is only Naveen Babu’s hawa. If I am not so confident about that, I would not have told that Naveen Babu will again take oath on the 9th of June with three fourth majority, he said.

He said there is parivartan in Odisha but that parivartan is transformation of Odisha. That is the theme of our Chief Minister – to build a new Odisha, to transform. Health sector, education sector, Cuttack Bus stand, Bhubaneswar Bus stand, everything including infrastructure and services are getting transformation in Odisha. Speaking about the main opposition party BJP, Pandian said, they have an internal target of winning thirty seats in the state. You will see how many seats they going to get out of that.
