British Council to Impart Communication Skills to Commissionerate Police Personnel

Bhubaneswar: With an aim to raise the confidence level of its personnel, the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate Police has tied up with the British Council which will offer them communications skills training.
An MoU was signed in this regard between the Commissionerate Police and British Council of India.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Debanjan Chakrabarti, Director (East & Northeast India), Dr. U. Dash, Addl.CP, P. Singh, DCP Bhubaneswar, Pinak Mishra, DCP Cuttack, Ridhima Somaiya, Academic coordinator, P.K. Mohanty of MGM foundation along with the members of KIIT and KISS.

The special training Project named ‘Communicating with Confidence – a training for Police personnel, will enhance professionalism and public communication of the police personnel and officers with regards to communication in English.

The British Council will train the members of the Commissionerate police and by the end of the training course, they will be more confident in their English communication skills. The training module constitutes about 35 hours of online and offline course.
