New Delhi: Class 12 board exams for CBSE and CISCE students have been cancelled this year in view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation.
“It has been decided that Class XII Board Exams would not be held this year. It was also decided that CBSE will take steps to compile the results of class XII students as per a well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner,” an official statement said.
The announcement came after a level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Class XII Board Exams.
The meeting was attended by the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister of Defence Rajnath Singh and others.
