Bhubaneswar: A Central Government team will visit Odisha on Saturday to assess the damages caused by the recent cyclone Jawad.
Led by Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs Saurav Ray, the team will visit the cyclone-affected districts such as Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Cuttack and Kendrapara.
After two-day visit, the team will submit its report on damage assessment with the Centre, according to reports.
Earlier, the State Government had asked the Collectors to submit the crop damage assessment report of their respective districts.
