Bhubaneswar: Prashanta Kumar Gantayat, Chief Civil Supplies Officer, Bhubaneswar has come under the scanner of Odisha Vigilance for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.
“On the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Prashanta Kumar Gantayat, Chief Civil Supplies Officer, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by 8 DSPs, 5 Inspectors, and other staffs on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar”, the Vigilance informed.
The simultaneous house searches are being conducted at Gantayat’s 8 places in Bhubaneswar and Ganjam, including one single storeyed building located over plot No. 1485 under village Pandara, Bhubaneswar; one triple storeyed building located over plot No. 1484 under village Pandara, Bhubaneswar; an apartment located at village Bhabanipur, Berhampur-II of Neelachal Heights; one double storeyed building (VIM-192) located at Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar; an Apartment at Neelachal City Canal Road, Badagada, Laxmi Sagar, Bhubaneswar; office chamber of Sri Gantayat located in the Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Deptt. of Odisha; his parental house located at Co-operative Colony, 1st Lane, Berhampur, PS- Baidyanathpur, Dist- Ganjam and his residential Govt. quarter No. S-50 located at municipality colony Unit-III, Bhubaneswar.
The search is in progress, the Vigilance informed.
