Chief Secy Reviews Various Devt Projects in Balasore, Urges to Complete Medical College Works in Six Months
Balasore: Odisha Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra visited Balasore o take stock of progress of various development programmes in the district.
During his visit, the Chief Secretary reviewed the under-construction works at Fakir Mohan Medical College and Hospital in Balasore. He has directed the officials to complete the works within the next six months.
The students studying here are now attending the practical class at the district headquarters hospital. About one hundred persons, including associate and assistant professors, have been appointed for the 650-bed hospital.
The Chief Secretary said that special arrangements are being made at the medical college and hospital for the treatment of cancer patients.
He also urged to finish the repair work of about one kilometer adjacent road from the national highway to the hospital as soon as possible.
The Chief Secretary visited Chandipur and reviewed the construction of Marine Drive Road. He also took stock of progress of other development projects in the district.
Balasore Collector Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde and other district administration officials were present during the Chief Secretary’s visit.
