Bhubaneswar: Chilika MLA Prashant Jagadev was arrested today for allegedly ramming his vehicle into a crowd near Chilika Block Office resulted in injuries to several people.
Jagadev was arrested by police after being discharged from a hospital where he was undergoing treatment.
Earlier on March 12, several persons injured as Prasanta Jagadev allegedly plowed his car into a crowd at Banapur in Khurda district.
Following the incident, irate people thrashed the MLA severely who was first admitted in Tangi hospital and later shifted to a hospital in Bhubaneswar.
