Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has responded to the letter of Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik regarding the mishap during the ‘Adapa Mandap Bije’ of Lord Balabhadra in Puri.
“I have read your letter very carefully. All of us will work together to ensure smooth conduct of the all rituals and Gundicha Yatra of Lord Jagannath. Your advice will always be accepted by me with respect”, wrote Majhi while responding to LoP Naveen Patnaik’s letter.
“The whole world is sad at the unprecedented incident occurred during the Adapa Mandap Bije of Lord Balabhadra. So it is natural that you are pained by this incident. I am also deeply saddened”, Majhi wrote to Naveen.
The CM further said that he has directed Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida and Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan to immediately rush to Puri after he came to know about the mishap and advised everyone to be cautious so that the incident like this does not happen again in the future.
Earlier today, BJD President Naveen Patnaik wrote to the Chief Minister expressing his deep concerns regarding the mishap during the ‘Adapa Mandap Bije’ of Lord Balabhadra.
Naveen urged the CM to take personal responsibility to ensure that such incidents do not recur again in future.
