Puri: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday visited Puri Srimandir and offered prayers to the deities.
It was the second visit of the Chief Minister to the pilgrim city in the last seven days.
After the inauguration of the ambitious Srimandir Parikrama Project on January 17, Naveen made a visit to the holy city today.
After offering prayers to Lord Jagannath, the Chief Minister walked around the inaugurated Parikrama marg.
5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian accompanied him to Puri.
The Chief Minister visited the temple to have darshan and experience the new facilities available to the devotees.
The CM prayed before the deity for the prosperity and well-being of the people.
Expressing immense happiness over the magnificence of the project and the spiritual environment, the CM said the project will give a spiritual environment to devotees for generations.
