Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President Naveen Patnaik today exercised his franchise in Bhubaneswar.
As polling continued in the six Lok Sabha and 42 Assembly constituencies in the third phase in the State, the BJD supremo reached at the Aerodrome Colony Upper Primary School polling booth here to cast his vote.
He showed his ink-marked finger as a mark of participation and posed for a photo at the selfie point after casting his vote for the third phase elections.
The Chief Minister also requested all voters, especially the young voters, to come out and vote and express their democratic franchise.
Talking to media, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said “I expect the Biju Janata Dal to have a great victory both in the Assembly and in the Parliament elections. We will form a very stable government in the state again because of the people’s blessings and the blessings of Lord Jagannath,” he said.
Naveen again asserted that the Biju Janata Dal will perform very well in the Lok Sabha and Assembly seats and form a stable and strong government in Odisha with the blessings of Lord Jagannath and the people of Odisha.
