Bhubaneswar: Adding another chapter to Odisha’s industrial growth story, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today laid the foundation stone for the Integrated Greenfield Steel Plant of JSW Utkal Steel Limited at Paradip. The Mega Steel Plant will usher in economic development in the Jagatsinghpur-Paradip area with potential to fostering ancillary downstream industries. JSW is going to invest around Rs 65,000 Crore for this 13.2 MTPA Greenfield integrated steel plant. The Group will also set up a 52 MTPA captive all weather cargo Jetty. It will generate employment opportunities for around 30000 people. The Plant will come up at Dhinkia Nuagaon and Gadakujanga under Erasama Tehsil of Jagatsinghpur district.
