CM Naveen To Handover Appointment Letters To 1205 Doctors Today

Bhubaneswar: Keeping the motto Every Life Matters and fulfilling the endeavor of quality healthcare for all, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will today hand over the appointment letters to 1205 new Doctors in the Odisha Medical and Health Services Cadre. The appointment letters will be handed over at a special program being organized at the Kalinga Stadium.

In the last ten years, the Government of Odisha has set up 8 medical colleges and two Post graduate institutes in the state and now every year about 2200 doctors and 826 specialists are passing out. The government has an aim t make Odisha a doctor surplus state. The healthcare infrastructure has been transformed in the state with advanced medical equipment being made available ass district hospitals. The new appointments will add to the existing facilities and help provide quality healthcare.
