Bhubaneswar: Fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Odisha and adding another chapter to the History of new Odisha, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will today inaugurate the Odia University at Satyabadi in Puri district. The Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the new building of the Odia University through Video Conferencing at 11.30 AM. The Odia University Building has been built on 9 acres of land. It has all the facilities for the students, teachers, academicians and researchers such as hostels, classrooms, offices and other infrastructure. The Administrative Building boasts architecture inspired by the Odia alphabets.
Located near the Bakula Vana Vidyalaya, the foundation stone for the university was laid on 9th October 2018. The Odia School of learning has a capacity to accommodate 200 students with separate hostels for male and female students. It has also a latest library, cafeteria and green atmosphere.
5T Chairman Kartik Pandian had reviewed the progress of the works related to the University recently and inspected all the infrastructure, landscaping works, facilities etc., and instructed the authorities to complete the works on time.
