Bhubaneswar: Good news for farmers of Odisha on the occasion of Nuakhai. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will today release the financial assistance under the Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation scheme. The assistance will be released for Rabi Crop of the year 2023-24.
More than 44 lakh small, marginal and landless farmers will get the benefits. An amount of about Rs 90 crore will be deposited in the farmers’ bank accounts through DBT mode today. Each eligible beneficiary will receive Rs 2,000 in their bank account.
