CM Sanctions Rs 2 Cr for Construction of Water Tank at Famous Religious Place of Muslim Community in Dhamnagar
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday sanctioned Rs 2 crore for the construction of a water tank at Khanwa, a famous religious place of the Muslim community in Dhamnagar of Bhadrak district.
A delegation from Khanwar met and requested 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian in this regard during his visit to the district.
Considering their request, the Chief Minister has sanctioned funds for the water tank.
The followers of Pir Baba Huzoor Mujahid-e-Millat come to Khanwa in large numbers every day. The place witnesses a heavy crowd during the function of Pir Baba Huzoor Mujahid.
The water tank will benefit two lakh devotees including students, pilgrims, members of Mujahid-e-Milat Committee.
The Muslim brothers and sisters of Dhamnagar area have expressed deep gratitude to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and 5T Chairman VK Pandian for the prompt solution to their problems.
