Commissionerate Police Makes Elaborate Arrangements for Holi Celebrations in Bhubaneswar  

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police of Bhubaneswar has made elaborate security arrangements for peaceful celebrations of Holi in the capital city on Wednesday.

The police has formed a team-60 and special squad for Holi celebrations in the city.

DCP Prateek Singh said that the Bhubaneswar police district has been split into 17 zones along with provision of mobile patrolling parties for each zone.

The Special Squad and Team-60 will keep watch in Bhubaneswar. Police personnel will be deployed at major crowded places, traffic junctions and parking areas from 7 am till 4 pm. Besides, night-blocking and vehicle checking will be carried at 31 places in Bhubaneswr to keep a tab on criminals and disturbing elements, he said.

As many as four additional DCPs, seven ASPs, 28 inspectors, 57 ASIs/AASIs, 38 APR constables, 44 sections of forces and home guards will be deployed in the capital city,
