Congress’s Kerala leaders Sudhakaran, Satheeshan to go to Delhi to meet high command

The senior leaders will meet Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and will try to meet the party chief Mallikarjun Kharge.

The Congress leaders from Kerala are meeting the high command following the arrest of Sudhakaran in a cheating case related to fraudulent antique dealer Monson Mavunkal who is under arrest.

The Kerala Police have also registered a vigilance case against Satheeshan in a case related to allegedly collecting money from abroad for constructing homes for the deprived post the devastating floods in the state.

The state Congress unit has taken a position that the criminal cases against two senior leaders of the state unit were the ruling CPI-M’s politics of vendetta and that the party should politically act against the Kerala government’s vindictive politics.

The Congress has conducted protest marches across the state against the arrest of Sudhakaran in the cheating case related to Mavunkal.
