New Delhi: With the Covid scare gaining each and every day in the country, the Center has decided to conduct a mock drill for emergency response to deal with #COVID19 cases. It will be conducted in hospitals across the country on coming Tuesday, 27th December. According to sources, the mock drill will help the government to assess the preparedness of the states in fighting the probable Covid wave propelled by new variants. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will also take part in the mock drill.
The mock drills will be conducted to ensure the operational readiness of the Covid related facilities and infrastructure in the hospitals with focus on availability of oxygen, working of Oxygen plants, ventilators, logistics and human resources.
