Bhubaneswar: CS RK Sharma, ADGP (HQ) has attended the 32nd Annual Regional Conference of the Eastern India Regional Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) as Chief Guest.
In his address, Sharma has highlighted the role of Company Secretaries in the decision-making process of the corporate sector.
He said that a Company Secretary is a strategic planner and a good adviser to the company.
The two-day ICSI-EIRC 32nd Annual Regional Conference on “Company Secretary – the New Age Corporate Chanakya” began at Puri on Saturday.
The conference saw deliberation by dignitaries from trade and industry and from the regulatory authorities. Over 300 delegates from the Eastern Region have attended the conference.
Notably, the ICSI has decided to open an Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre (ADR Centre) in Bhubaneswar.
