Sambalpur: As the situation in Sambalpur city has returned to its normalcy, the district administration has decided to lift the curfew from the entire city.
The curfew has already been removed from the areas under four police stations- Khetrajpur, Ainthapalli, Bareipalli, and Sadar in Sambalpur.
The night curfew will be lifted from the areas under two more police stations-Town police station and Dhanupali Police Station) by this evening, informed Sambalpur SP B. Gangadhar.
Following the violence during a Hanuman Jayanti rally on April 12 evening, six police station areas of Sambalpur were put under curfew since April 14 mid-night.
