Cuttack: The Badambadi Police in Cuttack has arrested a notorious robber Hemant Das today. Hemant has more than 100 cases against him in various police stations across the state. He has also hundreds of criminal cases outside the state. The Badambadi Police arrested him in Cuttack in a robbery case.
According to sources, he belongs to the Hata Sahi area in Bhubaneswar’s Lingaraj Police station limits. Earlier, the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissinerate Police had arrested him in February this year in a jewelry theft case. He is said to be an active robber since the 1980’s and lives a lavish life with the looted bounty.
