Cyber Frauds Create Fake Whattsapp Account In The Name Of BeMC Commissioner J Sonal, Demand Money

Berhampur: Cyber frauds have created a fake Whattsapp Account in the name of Berhampur Municipal Corporation Commissioner J Sonal and demanding money from different people and officials. A Whatsapp account with mobile number – 8440864565 is pretending to be J Sonal, IAS, Commissioner of Berhampur Municipal Corporation and sending messages demanding money and gifts by opening spurious links to different employees and public. The incident has been reported at the Cyber and Economic Police station, Berhampur for necessary action.

Public are requested not to respond to any message or call from the number. If came across, they are also requested to report such incidents of fraud or impersonation at the nearest police station immediately.
