Once again, the Odisha Chief Minister has shown his statesmanship by staying above politics.
On the one hand, the Assam Chief Minister is criticizing his Odisha counterpart by making rude comments during the election campaign. But Naveen, who respects India’s federal system, has offered help to Assam in times of crisis.
One person was killed and several sustained injuries in Assam due to heavy rains accompanied by strong winds after Cyclone Remal in several parts of the State, according to media reports.
As per the Assam State Disaster Management Authority, 11 districts have been affected by the cyclone.
